While Oxford sent out their notifications two weeks ago, Cambridge applicants received their admissions news today (students can only apply to Oxford or Cambridge, not both) with Crimson students and their dedicated support teams celebrating admission to some of the most competitive courses in the global education space.
Just some of our student successes include acceptances to Oxford or Cambridge:
The above comes as new data released by UCAS revealed a record 76,940 students had applied to universities/courses with the October 15 deadline (which includes Oxford and Cambridge plus most medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine/science courses). This number represented an incredible increase of 23,670 applications from the previous year, when 53,270 applications were received in the October 15 deadline round.
Of these applications, 28,690 were to medicine courses, making this course exceptionally competitive — and making our Crimson teams incredibly proud of their students who made this rigorously competitive cut!
Supported by dedicated teams of strategists, personal statement mentors, interview prep experts and admissions exam tutors, many of our students have received offers from all five of their UCAS applications — Oxford or Cambridge being some of the last universities to notify their students of admission.
Further, this news comes as some students balance their Oxford or Cambridge offers with those received from leading US universities in the early round (with the US regular round notifications due in March/April), including from the Ivy League.
Overall Crimson’s hard-working UK admission year applicants have now received over 250 offers from top UK schools including University College London (UCL), Imperial College London, the University of Edinburgh, King's College London and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Many of our students’ success also extends overseas to the US, with over 200 students also receiving offers from top US schools in the early round alone — including all 8 Ivies, Stanford, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), New York University and more.
Despite a uniquely challenging admissions cycle, Crimson’s students have once again proven that with the right resources and help from a global team of experts, no university dream is out of reach.
