The results are in, and we are ecstatic to report that Crimson students in the 2019-2020 application round have recorded another year of outstanding results. If you thought our record breaking results from last-year were great, this year’s results have set the bar even higher.
This year our students, supported by their dedicated, personalized teams of strategists, mentors and tutors, have been busy achieving outstanding grades, sitting standardised tests, participating in extracurricular activities, preparing essays or personal statements, preparing for interviews, and college sports recruitment.
Ultimately their hard work has paid off, and they have been admitted to hundreds of universities such as Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge, Yale, Princeton, Berkeley, UCLA and more. With the backdrop of admission rates as low as 4.7% for some of these highly competitive universities, the achievements of the Crimson students are even more remarkable.
Over the past six years, Crimson’s dedication to identifying ‘best fit’ universities for all students has resulted in 1440+ offers to US top 50 universities including 268 offers to the Ivy League. Our students have also received 600+ offers to UK top 10 universities, 99 of those to Oxford or Cambridge.
Take a look below for the latest results!
549 Crimson students received over 1,600 total acceptances to 341 different colleges from 16 different countries.
Crimson students set a new record with 80+ admissions into the Ivy League .
This makes our 2019-20 Ivy League acceptance rate 21%, which is almost 3 times the global acceptance rate.
A total of 469 of our students were accepted to top US Universities. Beyond the Ivies, Crimson students received offers to highly competitive US schools including the University of Chicago, Northwestern, Duke University, Johns Hopkins, Vanderbilt University, Caltech and many more.
Our average entry rate for the other non-Ivy League top-20 US universities was 27%, more than three times the global average acceptance rate.
Admits to Oxbridge: 19 admits to Oxford and 21 to Cambridge - taking the total Crimson student admission numbers to the UK’s oldest and top-ranked universities to 99.
Overall our Oxbridge acceptance rate was 48%, which is 2.2 times the global average.
A total of 249 of our students were accepted to the UK’s top 10 universities, including Imperial College London, UCL, LSE, University of Edinburgh, King’s College London, and many more.
Our entry rate for the other UK Top 10 Universities was a high 79%, which is 22% higher than the global average.
Of course, some things aren’t reflected in the statistics above. Of special note is the extraordinary acceptance rates for students that have been with Crimson for two years or more, who continue to have an acceptance rate to the Ivy League at least 4 times the global average.
We want to congratulate all of our 2019-20 Crimson students once again. We are so proud to have been able to help you on your journey, and share in your successes. We wish you all the best for your studies in the future and we can’t wait to see where this next adventure takes you.
