The Early Decision I (EDI) round acceptance rate was 32%, while the Early Decision II (EDII) round saw an 11% acceptance rate to Emory's Oxford College and a 12% acceptance rate to the Emory College of Arts and Sciences (ECAS).

The admission results and acceptance rate of Emory University were announced by the university on March 27th 2024. Over four rounds of admission, Emory made offers to 5,058 of the 34,914 applicants, resulting in an overall acceptance rate of 14.5%.

This year’s acceptance rate is nearly two percentage points lower than last year’s 16.2%.

Emory’s Regular Decision Acceptance Rate

Emory’s regular decision admission numbers for the Class of 2028 indicate a significant level of competitiveness. The institution received around 28,764 applications, with approximately 3,848 students gaining acceptance, resulting in an estimated regular-decision acceptance rate of around 13.4%.

According to Emory, the accepted Class of 2028 was about 7.1% smaller than the 5,445 applicants admitted to the Class of 2027. The number of applications increased by about 4%.
