I’m currently a Year 11 High School student that is thinking of studying Medicine. I know the pathway for both Monash & MelbUni but I’m stuck with the idea thinking that Monash is less prestigious than MelbUni and that people who can’t get into MelbUni will usually go to Monash.
My aim is to get into Melb Uni however my mom thinks Monash is the better choice since its a 5 year direct entry course whereas Melb Uni is a 7 year course altogether. There is also a risk as you need to have a 3.0-3.2 GPA & interviews in order to continue the graduate studies in Melb Uni.
