That was one of the main reasons I chose Princeton! Purely from a numbers standpoint, Princeton boasts far more undergraduates than graduate students – almost a 2:1 ratio of undergrads to grads. Compare this to other schools such as Harvard, which has a 1:2 ratio of undergrads to grads. Therefore, a lot of resources go towards opportunities for undergraduates. As a result, Princeton has a quite low student:faculty ratio, offers many research opportunities for undergraduates, and offers opportunities such as precepts to solidify material.
