Is there anyone who has had personal experience with Palmerston North Boys’ High School either in the capacity of student, parent, or staff member?
I’m interested in learning more about the school and its culture, in particular:
-Extracurriculars available
-Leadership and volunteer opportunities
-Academic structure (curriculum / how are classes categorised/streamed
-School tradition and culture
-Social aspect / inclusivity
-Facilities
What are the best parts about attending Palmerston North Boys’ High School? In addition, what are some of the weaknesses (if any).
Hi there,
I was a student at Palmy Boys, my last year was 2012. I had a great time there, and would highly recommend the school. It is hands down the best boys school in the area.
Overall I enjoyed my time there, I was very involved and therefore enjoyed the large range of things on offer. The culture has definitely changed from being very sport orientated, and I especially spent a lot of time in the music department.
Check their website for more up to date info as this is just from how it was in 2012.
