Uhhhhh I think my life is kind of boring compared to other students… Where do I start?
Admissions committees love anecdotes. Rather than talking about broad themes throughout your life, try to start by thinking about events or stories from your life that changed the way you think about something, or taught you a profound lesson. It doesn’t have to be an incredibly profound or life-changing event. Even the most mundane experiences can offer insights into how you think and see the world. Above all, remember to try to give the admissions committee a look into you as a person, rather than just relisting your achievements.
