Following a severe criticism of its methodologies, US News has focused its results on changes that education can bring. Keeping that in mind here are the changes to this year’s ranking system:
The US News rankings for Best Medical and Law Schools have been delayed indefinitely. The publisher released a preview of its rankings although there was a boycott from top schools. However, there was a lot of feedback to the initial lists. "The level of interest in our rankings, including from those schools that declined to participate in our survey, has been beyond anything we have experienced in the past." While the rest of the rankings have been released, the Medical and Law School Lists are delayed indefinitely.
