Mason is originally from Los Angeles and earned his Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara as a double major in Communication and Psychology and a minor in Music. After graduating, Mason became an Admissions Officer for UC Santa Barbara where he recruited students, read applications from students all over the world, led diversity initiatives, planned special projects, and served on committees and boards to help students transition from applicants to full-time students on campus.

With Crimson, Mason has guided students to top universities in the US: Columbia, Yale, Stanford, Notre Dame, Emory, UCLA, UC Berkeley, USC, NYU, Liberal Arts Colleges, and arts institutes. Most recently, Mason started working towards his Master’s Degree in Higher Education at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and is currently based in Australia.
