Laila holds an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience & Psychology from UC Berkeley and a graduate degree in Global Health from UC San Francisco.
Laila is the Founder and Director of Sana Relief, a program at Stanford University School of Medicine focused on health research and implementation in the MENA region. The focus of the program is vulnerable populations, including women and refugees. Prior to this, Laila founded and led Stanford University’s response to the Syrian refugee crisis, supported by President Tessier-Lavigne. With Crimson Education, Laila works as a strategist, providing personalised blueprints for success in US college admissions.
